6/3/17 Trail Challenge 10:00 AM Metroparks of the Toledo Area Register
  Help us celebrate National Trail Day by signing up to take the Trail Challenge. Set your goal of 50, 100 or 150 miles and create your plan to accomplish your goal and hike! To participate: register online or mail in your registration form with your entry fee. You will receive a t-shirt, entry into the Trail Challenge FaceBook group and invitations to special trail hikes. Your reward will be a hiking stick with the badge of the miles you completed 50, 100 or 150. The form is for you to track your mileage. You can drop off or mail your completed form to Wildwood Preserve Visitors Center by June 30, 2018. You will then be notified when rewards are available for pick-up.

Metroparks encourages you to set a stretch goal, a GET OUTSIDE YOURSELF kind of goal. For some, that will be accomplishing the 50 miles for others the 100 or 150. Watch for Metroparks Featured Trails. Try a trail in a Metropark you've not previously visited. When registering online enter your Mile Goal into the 'Age of Children' text field.

1/1/18 Snowshoe Pop-Up Programs: Ages 5+ 12:00 PM Off-Site Register
  When the snow falls get outside and escape on a snowshoe hike through the winter wonderland of your Metroparks. Snowshoe pop-up programs will be posted on short notice when the snow conditions are right.

Register here to get your email on our email list; this does NOT register you for a snowshoe program. When it snows and a pop-up snowshoe program is scheduled you will receive an email alert; you must register for each pop-up program individually. There are no snowshoe programs pre-scheduled for January, February, or March; registering for these dates simply puts your email on the email list to be alerted when a pop-up program is scheduled.

2/13/18 2018 Master Gardener Volunteer Training 9:00 AM Toledo Botanical Garden Registration Closed
  These programs are for selected volunteers. Recruitment occurs in the fall and classes will be held in the winter of 2018 in the Conference Center Terrace Room.  
2/13/18 Michigan vs Ohio: The Toledo War 6:30 PM Wildwood Preserve Registration Closed
  In 1835, the state of Ohio and Michigan (the only territory) nearly went to war over an area of land called the Toledo Strip. Today, the rivalry between these two states continues largely between the U of M and OSU football teams. Come learn the history and aftermath of this battle while also cheering for your favorite team!  
2/13/18 Ladies Night Out- GALentine's Day 6:30 PM Wildwood Preserve Registration Closed
  Ladies! Call your gal pals and celebrate a day just for you! This fun evening will start off with a brisk snowshoe or hike thru the winter woods, to a quiet overlook. Friends will then warm up in the historical farmhouse while sipping warm and cold beverages and tasty snacks. Dress for the weather with comfortable footwear or boots. Ages 21 and over only.  
2/13/18 BGSU Concert Series: Trombone 7:30 PM Wildwood Preserve No Registration Required
  Enjoy beautiful harmonies in a stately setting. This evening's performance: Trombone students of Brittany Lasch.
